We are looking at the possibility of holding a social function Friday night, August 11, 2023 during the South Atlantic FIRE RESCUE Expo. If you are not familiar with the show, it’s one of the largest fire shows on the east coast. Admission to the Expo is FREE to fire service personnel.
If you are not affiliated with a department, we can get you in at no charge. Hours for the Expo are Friday Aug 11 from 10am until 5pm and Saturday Aug 12 from 9am to 2pm. We typically have over 80 pieces of apparatus on the show floor and exterior of the convention center.
We are looking at Friday night in Downtown Raleigh for the CFP event, probably in the area of Glenwood South. The Brotherhood Bash will be held nearby, so going to the Bash after the CFP event will be very easy. We anticipate heavy hor d’oeuvres and drinks (all on us of course!)
We were hoping to do a big event in 2020 (our 25th Anniversary) but COVID sidelined those plans, so we’re gonna celebrate 28 years instead. Several select CFP members will also be invited.
THIS IS A CHANCE FOR EVERYONE TO MEET, SWAP SOME STORIES AND JUST HAVE A GOOD TIME.
